Hi, I'm Jackie Chikambure, founder of Tell Our Story, ghostwriter, storyteller, and a mom who became slightly obsessed with making sure 'the good stuff' doesn't get forgotten.
Becoming a mother changed everything. Suddenly, I was reading bedtime stories that didn't quite capture the extraordinary little boy sitting in my lap. So I did what any completely normal person would do —
I wrote him one.
That first story opened something up in me. I realised it wasn't just children who deserved to see themselves on the page. It was all of us. The grandmother whose recipes everyone loves. The family with a lifetime of traditions living only in conversation. The child growing up faster than anyone was ready for...
Tell Our Story was born from that realisation.
