That's where we come in.
Tell Our Story is a storytelling, ghostwriting and narrative design studio. We listen closely, find the thread, and shape what matters into something meaningful - a book, a brand narrative, a legacy, an editorial story or something entirely its own.
Because good stories don't just tell people what happened. They help us understand why it mattered.

I'm Jackie Chikambure.
Storyteller, narrative designer, and the founder of Tell Our Story and Little Non-Adventures.
Most importantly, I'm a mom who became slightly obsessed with making sure the good stuff, you know, the ordinary things that make up a life, don't get forgotten. The ordinary moments in life are often the most spectacular.
It started with my son. While reading him bedtime stories, I noticed the stories didn't seem quite fitting for the extraordinary little boy sitting in my lap. So I did what any completely normal person would do —
I wrote him one, and I wrote it about him.
That first story opened something up in me. I realised it wasn't just children who deserved to see themselves on the page. It was all of us.
The grandmother whose recipes everyone loves. The family with a lifetime of traditions living only in conversation. The founder with a story behind the business. The place whose history lives in the people who know it best. The child growing up faster than anyone was ready for.
Tell Our Story was born from that realisation.
Today, my studio helps people, families, brands and organisations find the stories that matter and turn them into something lasting.
I don't write content. I don't do polished and perfect for the sake of it. I sit with you. I listen. We find the thread. And I write something that actually sounds like the life you've lived, the place you've built, or the thing you've poured your heart into.
Little Non-Adventures is the philosophy that sits alongside it all: stories where nothing spectacular happens, except life itself.
I'm glad you're here and I hope we get to make something meaningful together.
