Jackie Chikambure is an author of international acclaim with her published novel called "Anaishe". Anaishe is a thrilling suspense story set in modern-day South Africa revolving around an enigmatic immigrant called Anaishe. In her portfolio, Jackie also has a self-published novella, Kee, both available on Amazon and local SA online stores.
Beyond novels, Jackie excels in short-form fiction, with awards including the ShonaReads and Vindigo Press short story competitions in 2023. Her science fiction story, "My Lil Melanin Princess," even earned a longlisting in the Brilliant Flash Fiction SciFi Contest.
Jackie's work is characterised by a passion for societal and cultural diversity, seamlessly woven into her gripping narratives. Her writing transcends boundaries, offering readers both entertainment and enlightenment.
Jackie holds four university degrees including an Honours Degree in Creative Writing and a Masters degree in Social Sciences from UCT .
Jackie Chikambure is a dynamic woman, both in character and talent. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, in the small sugarcane town of Chiredzi, she now calls South Africa home. For fun, she swims the Midmar Mile in Howick, South Africa, every year and watches a questionable amount of TV pilot episodes. She has been married to her varsity sweetheart for over eight years.
